| Plot Summary of The Otherhood |
"Computer sleuth Vic Jones is drawn through time into the year 2084 when an untried Genetic Regression procedure goes awry. Regression, a means of isolating and reliving memories stored within the resonance of one's DNA molecules has been enhanced by Dr. Amiel Isaac, its inventor. He tests his new technique by sending the son of Trycor magnate, Bob Jones, back through the family bloodline to alter a critical detail in the corporation's charter that would change both their fortunes.
Vic's ties to a shadowy organization he understands little about lead him to battle his own destiny and the love he feels for two women to save the terramyd, the creation of the megalomaniac brother he despises. The terramyd, a biological alloy cultivated to immense proportions, is home and haven to millions of Trycor shareholders as well as the mysterious pseudoconsciousness known as the myd.
Vic's efforts to save the terramyd and return home uncover the mystery of the myd's origin and end a plot by Chairman Bob Jones to annihilate the remaining inhabitants of Los Angeles and spread his corporate empire across the galaxy.
