"Casey Westmoreland is an attractive woman who has a way with horses. So when she moves to Montana to get closer to the father she never knew, she expected to work with family friend McKinnon Quinn on his horse ranch.
He turns her down flat--not because he doubts her skill--because he wants her so badly.
But Quinn has a rule of no women on his ranch. And why not? The last woman who he allowed to live of his land and into his heart, destroyed him when she walked away. Quinn is harboring a medical secret that he's sure no woman could deal with.
Casey doesn't understand why Quinn runs hot and cold, especially after the hot kisses that they've shared. Everyone sees the love that's developing between Quinn and Casey. Casey's cousin, Durango Westmoreland, and Quinn are best friends and he knows what Quinn is hiding. Durango emplores Quinn to come clean to Casey so that they find a real love like what he and his wife have found. "
