Plot Summary of The Durango Affair
"Beautiful African American photographer Savannah Claiborne finds herself flying to Montana in order to explain to her one night stand that she is several months pregnant. When ranger Durango Westmoreland opens his door and finds gorgeous Savannah standing there, he is stunned by her bold announcement. After Savannah announces her pregnancy she explains to Durango that due to the champagne they imbided the night of their interlude, she forgot to take her birth control pill. Durango doesn't handle the news well and Savannah turns on her heel and heads back to the airport. Having flown to Montana strictly as a courtesy to Durango, Savannah is intent on raising her child alone and without Durango's help. Having a change of heart, Durango heads to the airport and tries   to have a rational discussion regarding their child's future with Savannah. When an impending storm causes Savannah to stay in Montana, Durango invites her to his home so that they can hash out the matter. Savannah is stunned when Durango makes her an offer - a six month marriage of convenience in order to give their child legitimacy. Although Savannah believes it is wrong to marry for these reasons, she has issues in her own past regarding her father's own abandonment of her family that causes her to reluctantly accept Durango's offer. While Savannah makes it clear to Durango that they will not be sharing a bed, Durango tells her that neither of them can deny their sizzling chemistry and they are destined to make love again. As Durango and Savannah tie the knot and begin to share a home, they both begin to realize that their marriage of convenience may be the real deal."
