Plot Summary of Marriage Agreement
"Marsh Bravo has been summoned back to his Oklahoma town by his father after leaving the town for ten years. Marsh has ran away fearing his father for they disagree a lot and violently. He flees town after one horrible disagreement wherein Marsh hit his father and his father went down. Fearing his father is dead, he flees the town. The separation becomes good for him. He is able to set up a multimillion dollar business completely independent now of his father. But when he has exiled himself he loses his love, Tory Winningham. Now that he's back, he tends to his ailing father and he hesitantly visits Tory. He finds out that Tory has his child – a 10-year old daughter. Tory refuses Marsh to spend time with her daughter but her daughter, Kim, has other ideas. She definitely wants to learn more and spend time with her father. For the sake of her daughter, Tory relents. Kim is elated that she finally meets her father. Now that her father is here, she pushes him to her mother to get them married. Both Tory and Marsh are horrified with Kim's matchmaking. Tory is still hurt over what has happened in the past, how Marsh has abandoned her. Marsh doesn't know how to convince Tory that he still loves her. When his father died, Marsh and Tory become close again and they eventually sleep together. He moves in Tory's spare guest room and becomes active in Kim's life. When a condom breaks during their lovemaking, Tory tells Marsh that if she gets pregnant, they will marry. As they wait on the result, Marsh doesn't want to marry Tory just because of the agreement but he wants to marry her because he loves her. It's clear to him that Tory doesn't want to marry him when she set up that agreement. When Tory doesn't get pregnant, Marsh is heartbroken. Now Tory has a reason to boot him out. Marsh prepares to go away for Tory's sake. But Tory realizes that after all these years, she still loves Marsh. And she makes a way to convince him of that. "
