| Plot Summary of Get Lucky |
"Sydney Jameson is returning back to her house after a night out when she discovers that her neighbor has been attacked and raped by a hooded man who has bumped her in the hallway just earlier. They report the incident to the police and are surprised to find that this has been a series of rape by the same man.
Lucky O Donlon begs off his squad's exciting mission to go home to San Diego for his sister's wedding. With a lot of time in his hands, he has been assigned by his chief to investigate and work with the police to catch the serial rapist. He is to work with Sydney, their main witness, who happens to be an investigative reporter. Lucky who is irresistible with women, finds himself at a loss when Sydney turns down his charm. Trying to keep everything professional, they both work together to piece in the profile of the rapist. They enlist 3 other SEALs trainees to work up on the clues. Lucky starts feeling differently for Sydney. He feels respect, protectiveness where Sydney is concern. But he also feels attracted to her although she has already turned him down.
When the serial rapist attacks one of his friend's wife, they work even harder to track down the rapist. He also fears for Sydney's life that she might be next. Unexpectedly the rapist has been apprehended and he has confessed of doing all those crimes. Lucky however feels suspicious that the case can't be that easy. When it finally dawns on him the real identity of the rapist, he tells Sydney and demands that she goes back to him where he can keep an eye on her. But suddenly Sydney finds herself being followed by the rapist himself. She quickly calls Lucky for help.
Lucky is suddenly frightened for Sydney. He has seen first-hand what the rapist did to his friend's wife and Sydney might not survive the brutality. With the other members of his squad available and at hand, they chase down Sydney's location before the rapist can get to her.
