| Plot Summary of Eve Green |
"Eve Green is a sensitive young person whose mother died when she was five. At that age she was forced to live with her grandparents, her mother's parents. Throughout her life she deals with the secret - she does not know who her father was. From the stories being told in the village where she lives she has a very negative picture of her father. Finally, she discovers the truth and is happy to know that her father loved her mother very much, although he was too immature to be ready to accept Eve's birth.
Another plot of the story is connected with an unusual and deep feeling that Eve has towards the man that is 15 years older than she. She met him on the grandparents' farm when she was eight and from that time she is deeply in love with him. That fascination will end with a happy marriage."
