| Plot Summary of No Time for Love |
"Larina was told she had an incurable heart disease and had only 21 days left to live. She had witnessed her sick mother suffer all those years before she died and left Larina all alone in this life. Larina wanted to meet Elvin Vanderfeld, the sick boy she grew up with during the time her mother was treated at Dr. Heinrich's house in Switzerland. To her, he was the only one who could understand her fear of dying now.
Larina didn't know Elvin was death. Her urgent letter begging him to keep his promise to meet her whenever she asked was mistaken for trying to exploit her relationship with a member of the powerful family like the Vanderfelds. Someone had keep her mouth shut, the Vanderfeld brothers decided, especially when one of them was running for election to the Presidency.
Wystan, Elvin's younger brother, was sent to meet with the supposed mistress of Elvin, Larina, promising that Elvin was only a little bit late. Meanwhile, he would try to understand her true motive and to ensure she stayed away from all public news so long as the election is over.
Unprepared to meet such a sweet innocent beautiful young girl, Wystan gradually fell for her. But there was some sadness in her eyes that she kept a secret and he yearned to know. How could she express her love to him when her days of living could be counted on fingertips?"
