| Plot Summary of Blood Brothers |
"Steve Garrett, a young man wanted by the police, works for the Cadillac Ranch (Butte, Montana) on hot cars. His action-filled life seems to be calming down, just as he gets the shock of his life when he finds out his brother, Beau, is dying from leukemia. His father tells him he is the only one who can save his brother with a bone marrow transplant.
Steve is wanted by the law, and by his enemy, Carlos Romero, a drug dealer in Vancouver, who had already made 2 attempts at killing him but had failed both times. He works for a crooked boss, Mr. Davitch, who takes advantage of him and uses him, knowing his situation.
Steve decides to take the risk. He is knocked out by his boss and his friends when he tries to get his money after being refused. He finally manages to get some money, and travels with his friend. He crosses the Canadian border illegally, because he knows he will be stopped if he doesn't. After that, he heads for his brother's and father's house, ready to save his brother from the jaws of leukemia. Will he be able to do it? Will be be caught and killed by Romero? Will his brother survive? Read the book and find out!"
