| Plot Summary of Gettysburg: The Final Fury |

" In July of 1863, two armies met on a battlefield in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the bloodiest battle in the nation's history. The two armies were both composed of American soldiers, it was the Union army against the Confederate army. In command of the Union troops was General George Meade, and in command of the Confederate troops was General Robert E. Lee. Whichever army emerged from this battle in victory, might very well win the entire war. The battle raged for days, claiming thousands of casualties.
Both sides in the Civil War were fighting hard for long held ideals. The little country town of Gettysburg played an integral part in this struggle. General Lee was hoping for a victory on Northern soil, and General Meade would be responsible for denying that victory. Many historians believe that the battle of Gettysburg was the turning point in the Civil War."
