Plot Summary of The Eagle Catcher
"Father John O'Malley, head pastor of the Jesuit mission on Wyoming's Wind River Reservation, discovers the Arapaho tribal chairman, Harvey Castle, stabbed to death in his tipi. The evidence shows his nephew, Anthony, killed him after a heated argument. But Father John does not believe the young man capable of murder. He works with Arapaho attorney Vicky Holden to clear Anthony's name.

The police soon discover someone broke into Harvey's office hours after his murder looking for something in his files. It appears, while researching Arapaho history, Harvey uncovered evidence of a crime so shocking, someone was willing to kill more than 100 years later to keep it hidden. Meanwhile, another tribal councilman dies under suspicious circumstances. Father John and Vicky find themselves in a race against time, with an FBI agent pursuing a murder indictment against Anthony. Also, it appears the real murderer is on their trail, and their own lives could be in danger.
