| Plot Summary of Honoured Enemy |
"Captain Dennis Hartraft is from the crack band of Kingdom raiders, Hartrafts Marauders, trained to fight behind enemy lines. They head towards a frontier garrison after being attacked by Tsurani soldiers. Meanwhile, a Tsurani patrol is sent to attack the same one. Both groups arrive at once, to find that the garrison has been overrun by a horde of dark elves, or Moredhel. They have two choices: band together, or be killed.
They opt for the first option, and race together across the mostly uncharted Northlands towards freedom, pursued by Moredhel. They find a small bridge over a ravine and cross it, thinking they are safe, making camp on the other side. In the morning though, they find a small army on the other side, made up of Moredhel and human renegades. They're outnumbered and must flee - into a valley containing a small, hidden village.
