| Plot Summary of Dueling Hearts |
"Molly James returns from boarding school to take over the family ranch after her father dies. Molly believes her neighbors, the Brannigans were responsible for her mothers death. To get even, Molly decides to take the Branningans to court to fight over a vital pass. The pass is essential for Sam Brannigans' ranch. From his and Molly's first meeting they have a love/hate relationship. Molly and Sam begin to compete in their ranching and logging operations. Molly hates Sam but she feels an attraction toward him. Sam on the other hand likes Molly a great deal. Molly is beaten one day by her new Uncle. Sam helps her and after that Molly softens towards him. Molly and Sam eventually marry for business reasons, but they eventually find love within their marriage. Molly still runs her ranch while Sam runs his. However, strange things begin to happen on Sams' ranch and people are getting hurt. Sam believes Molly is responsible. Both Sam and Molly experience distrust within in their relatioship and have to work to save their marriage. "
