| Plot Summary of Falling for You |
"At a party one evening, Maddy Hardy meets a great guy whose name she does not catch. Without her contact lens in, she does not see what he looks like either. But he invites her to come to his office to show him what her catering business can offer for lunch. When she does, Maddy finds out that the great guy is Kerr MacKinnon. The situation is like Romeo and Juliet. If Maddy's family were Capulets, then the MacKinnons would be Montagues. The families have been enemies since Kerr's brother, Dennis, ran over and killed Maddy's sister and the MacKinnons never apologized. But Maddy and Kerr cannot deny the attraction they feel, so they meet in secret.
Meanwhile, Maddy's brother, Jack, happily sleeps with almost every woman he meets. Maddy's business partner, Julie, keeps the identity of her son's father a secret. Maddy's nemesis from school, Kate, returns home after a car accident has destroyed her famous good looks. Maddy's best friend loses her job and moves in with Maddy. Maddy's stepmother, despite her advanced age, finally becomes pregnant with a much longed for baby, thus, Maddy cannot do anything to upset her stepmother.
When, Kerr's brother, Dennis, returns home because their mother is dying, the old family feud gets stirred up again. And everyone wants to know what everyone else is doing. Maddy and Kerr are going to have trouble keeping their romance a secret."
