Plot Summary of Unforgettable
"Greg Braxton and his search and rescue dog Dodger are on their last training test before Dodger goes for certification when they discover a car that has gone off a cliff. Surprisingly the driver is alive but when she wakes up it becomes obvious she has no memory of her life prior to the accident and she cannot remember her name. Dubbing her 'Lucky' Greg sets out to find out what happened to her. He is not interested in a relationship due to the tragic end of his first marriage but when Lucky is arrested because the car she was driving had been stolen he can't resist helping her.
Over his brother's, the sheriff, objections Greg takes Lucky home with him. None of the usual avenues, such as fingerprints, turns up Lucky's identity. The harder Greg works to help her solve the mystery of her past the more he finds himself drawn to her. Just when Greg final admits to himself that he is in love with her everything comes crashing down. After an episode of "Missing" features Lucky, her husband shows up, along with her four year old daughter.
As much as she loves Greg, Lucky feels she must try to salvage her marriage. It doesn't take her long to discover that her husband and his partner could very well have been involved in her accident, which wasn't really at all accidental."
