| Plot Summary of Turn Left at Sanity |
"Emmylou Sargent runs a bed and breakfast in a small town in Idaho. The town is populated by many harmless but eccentric characters who used to be patients at a sanitorium for the insane. Emmylou hardly gets any business and spends most of her time trying to look after her grandmother and aunt, both of whom used to work in a brothel and spend most of their time talking about sex.
Handsome and ambitious businessman, Joe Moncrief, arrives from New York as a guest at the bed and breakfast. He is only in town for a short stay in order to set up a business deal which will bring a factory to the area, but tries seducing Emmylou while he is there. Meanwhile, the town folk are opposed to the business which will upset their way of life, so, Emmylou sets about to seduce Joe, not only to her bed but also to the beauty of small town life. Emmylou's relatives decide to help by playing matchmaker and eventually, most of the town is trying to get Joe to abandon his business deal and fall in love with Emmylou."
