| Plot Summary of Thunder in Space |
" In the year 2120 Jack Thunder is a young fighter pilot who has just joined the ranks of the United States Space Force. He is posted to the space carrier USS Challenger where he meets up with his old friend/rival Red Styler and the veteran pilot Trey Knight. He also meets the Challengers Commander, the heroic Captain Doran and the Challenger's fiesty first officer, the beautiful April Kelley.
The action begins when a race of conquerors known as the Zidians arrive in the Earth's solar system. They are led by the fearsom Commander Akdon and his massive war fleet. Major fleet engagements are fought in orbit around the planets Neptune and Saturn. The Zidians pursue the Humans to Mars, where a major ground battle is fought with things such as battle mechas, giant tanks, and atmospheric fighters.
The humans eventually regroup at Earth for the final battle."
