But soon she begins to experience terrible nightmares.
Ailsa's half sisters have been living around the world, but they senses Ena's unease, and come to Glen Affric. One sister Li-an, a refugee from a war torn china has moved to France, where she tried to make a life for herself after having seen her lover brutally executed back in China. Eventually she learns to love again. Meanwhile, Genevra, Ailsa's other sister, had been living in India, where her husband served in the colonial army. Genevra was left alone for long periods of time while he was on duty, and she must forgive and help a friend who'd betrayed her horribly in the past.
