| Plot Summary of A Match for Melissa |
"Like Cinderella, Melissa is forced by her stepmother to act as servant to her two stepsisters during the London Season. However, when Melissa sneaks away from a party and stargazes, she is discovered by Robert, Duke of Oakwood. He falls for the stranger whose face is hidden, but she does not disclose her true identity. Robert is anxious to discover who the mysterious lady is, and eventually comes to believe that she is Melissa's stepsister, Regina. Melissa is still afraid to tell Robert who she really is, and Robert is having doubts about Regina, and becoming more and more fond of Regina's pretty servant."
