| Plot Summary of The Bridge to Terabithia |
" Katherine Patterson writes about the life of Jess Aarons when Leslie Burke moves into the house next door from the nearby city. The two become close friends. From restoring the old house they bought to not having a TV, Lesie and her family don't fit into Jess's neighborhood.
Leslie is gifted with an imagination that can take her anywhere she wants at anytime, something Jess has never experienced before. Together these two create an imaginary land for themselves. It is called Terabithia. Playing there, with Leslie as the queen and him the king, Jess is completely happy until tragedy strikes…
In the end, Jess learns to accept his loss. He moves on and when his little sister follows him up in to Terabithia, he teaches her the things he learned from Leslie.
