"When Jayne Dawson's husband of just a few days, goes missing then turns up dead, her whole life gets turned around by uncovered secrets and dangers. With the police thinking she's an accomplice to one of her husbands' crimes and the real outlaw wanting her dead for her husbands' betrayals, she finds protection in a grief-stricken rancher. Ethan Trent wanted nothing to do with Jayne Dawson and most certainly had no intentions of marrying ever again, but when he discovers the young widow is pregnant, marriage becomes their only option. As their arranged marriage begins to dissolve into a closer tie and with visions of his dead wife urging him to open his heart once more Ethan finds himself once again walking the land of the living.
