| Plot Summary of One for the Morning Glory |
"Prince Amatus, as a child, manages to drink the Wine of the Gods, of which it is said that "He who drinks the Wine of the Gods before he is ready shall thereafter be only half a man". The entire left half of his body disappears. His father, King Boniface, has the prince's minders executed. A year and a day later, the minders are replaced by four strangers who come to the kingdom. These new minders are somehow linked to Amatus regaining his missing left side. In order to become whole once more, Amatus must battle goblins, outsmart the Riddling Beast, defeat a plague of vampires, assume his father's throne, repel a usurper and his hordes of unnatural soldiers, join forces with thieves, and learn what it is to lose a friend."
