| Plot Summary of Fowl Prey |

"Hillside Bed & Breakfast owner Judith McMonigle and her cousin Renie escape north to Canada to Vancouver's Hotel Clovia, to get away before Thanksgiving. The hotel has screwed up their reservations, but fortunately for them Maria, a retired-dancer friend of Judith's from school, is staying at the hotel with a bunch of well known theatre people. Maria's husband, a famous theatre producer, gathers his group of "Sacred Eight" every once in a while for a get-together, however, with one missing there is an extra space for Judith and Renie. Or is it luck when Renie and Judith find themselves in the middle of another murder? Bob-O, a local icon and popcorn vendor, is murdered. He is a fan of all things movie and theatre and at least one of the Sacred Eight is figured prominently on his wall. When the local police think the two Americans are the most likely suspects, they kick into high gear, even if it means finding out one of your childhood friends is capable of murder."
