| Plot Summary of The Sheltering Sky |
"Port Moresby and wife Kit are travellers in Africa, joined by their friend Tunner. The Moresby are hoping to rekindle their failing marriage, although Tunner displays interest in Kit as well. As they travel across the unforgiving continent, the three travelers face seperations--both mental and physical. Swept with death and other circumstances, the trio is ripped apart, left to hold their own against the harsh environment of North Africa, alone under the once "sheltering sky.""
