| Plot Summary of Almost Adam |

"Paleoanthropologist Ken Lauder finds evidence of a living ancestor to modern Homo sapiens while exploring the African savannah. As political unrest grows, he heads into the savannah to learn more about his amazing find. He doesn't realize at first that this fantastic discovery of his is being monitored by men intent on killing him. The result is a chase through the wilderness as he tries to keep himself and a young hominid alive. The novel also introduces theories on the evolution of sexual organs and practices."
