"It is 1886 in an alternate America. President Custer's son heads out on a reconnaisance mission into Indian territory. The dirigible in which young Custer flies crashes, and he is captured by the Cheyenne. The Indians see him as a tool for bargaining with the whites, but one woman sees him as the focus of a prophecy that will save her people. Book available March 2001."
