| Plot Summary of Treasure Box |
"As a young boy, Quentin is devistated by the tragic death of his older sister, Lizzy. He grows up and becomes a computer programmer/millionaire, yet he never really finds true happiness in life until he finally meets the woman of his dreams, marries her, and begins to live for others instead of just for himself. His wife, though practically perfect in every way, is not eager for him to meet her family. Finally the day comes when she decides it's time to visit them in the old family mansion in New York. Quentin meets an odd collection of relatives at breakfast, including the ominous looking grandmother who rules the house with an iron fist. Quentin's wife says that now that she's married she gets to open her treasure box. She insists that Quentin open the box for her, but the grandmother is creeping him out with a steady eye-piercing gaze. While he struggles over whether to open the box, his wife throws a tantrum and storms off in a huff. The Quentin makes a creepy discovery that reveals that all is not as it appears to be, especially his wife. Quentin must battle wits against warring witches who want to control the menacing evil power trapped inside the treasure box."
