| Plot Summary of The Wyndham Legacy |
"Set in Regency England, "The Wyndham Legacy" is first in the Legacy trilogy. Marcus Wyndham has known Josephina Cochrane for almost ten years. Ever since she was nine years old, she has been called The Duchess, a name arrogantly given by Marcus when they were children. When her father dies, Duchess finds herself with an extravagent fortune, one that she feels should belong to Marcus. With help from some loyal friends, she tricks Marcus into marriage so he can claim the fortune for himself. What she doesn't know is that someone else is hungry for the money and the title and will resort to numerous attempts of murder to acquire it. "
