"SON OF MAN is a novel published in 1971.
Clay is man of the XXth century who has been suddenly thrust in a far future. He will make the acquaintance of a number of creatures who are all descendants of the human race but physiologically so different. He will explore a totally changed Earth whose Moon has disappeared and will be given added abilities in order to explore molecules as well as the solar system."
