She invites Vix to spend the summer with her and her family in Martha's Vineyard where the two girls embark on a summer of love and betrayal. Many years later, Caitlin invites Vix to be her maid of honor, even though they haven't seen each other in ages. Vix decides to go and learns about how Caitlin is able to rule her emotions."

"A great novel for adults by Judy Blume. This writer is famed with writing books geared to the pre-teen and teen audience, but this novel is for adults waiting to become a Judy Blume fan. The story of 2 girls growing up, apart, and always having a connection to each other. I haven't read a Judy Blume book since I was a kid, and I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It is more of a book for women, but I suppose men would enjoy it too. It made me laugh and cry. I loved it! This book is a quick and easy read, go get a copy today."
