| Plot Summary of Deja Dead |
"Tempe Brennan is a forensic anthropologist in Montreal. Weekend plans to go to Quebec City are shot when a body is found, and she must go to the recovery scene. Dr. Brennan studies this mutilated skeleton and sees something the local police either do not see or do not want to acknowledge. This is not an isolated death. It is one in a series of brutal murders. Dr. Brennan must prove to the police that the deaths are connected by showing the similarities between the saw marks on the recovered skeletons. Hoping to stop the killer before he can strike again, Dr. Brennan often goes on her own to investigate different leads or hunches. In so doing, she places herself in grave danger."
