I read Big Stone Gap, the first book in the trilogy here, and loved it all the way through! Ave Maria is married to Jack Mac, and they had two children together. One of the children became ill and passed away, and Ave Maria is really in a crisis. She feels her marriage is in deep trouble and that Jack isn't grieving the same as she. Please read and find out.
