Stephen Hathorne is a 19th century naval Lieutenant who is shipwrecked on the Florida coast, meets up with some local natives, goes to St. Augustine with them and travels to a spring deep in the Florida wilderness to find some old guy living there. Turns out he knows the guy who sends him on a time traveling journey to the future where he meets his future wife and they have to stop a madman from the near future from coming back and destroying history. ...
