The Frontiersmen I would have to say that this book is one of the best, if not THE best book that I have ever read. I am an 8th grade teacher and I use this book in my classes and try to make the name Simon Kenton, who is the main character, come to life for my students. It's a shame that he is usually only mentioned briefly in most text books. He was a greater frontiersman than Daniel Boone.
