Dearest Friend (A Life of Abigail Adams) |
This book tells just how much time Abigail spent separated from John Adams, how lonely she got, and how much the Adams family sacrificed for America. It also gives a good basic outline of the politics that separated North from South and Federalist from Republicans (party politics), but not so much that it gets utterly boring....
