| Plot Summary of Dragon on a Pedestal - Xanth 7 |
"The introduction of the new Princess Ivy is the basis of this novel. The 3-year-old daughter of Dor and Irene has wandered off and forgotten how to get home. The book changes between the adventures of the budding Sorceress and those of her worried mother trying to find her. Along the way, Ivy befriends Hugo, the Good Magician's and the Gorgon's son, and Stanley Steamer, the youthened Gap Dragon. Irene's adventures include the discovery of Mt. Parnassus, and the Muses, among others. "
