Plot Summary of The Runaway Jury
"In Biloxi, Mississippi, a landmark trial begins against Big Tobacco, worth hundreds of millions of dollars. At first, everything goes as planned, until the jury begins behaving strangely, and at least one juror thinks he's being watched. It is a fantastic story, full of twists and turns, and delves deeply into the subject of how far some people will go to bury the truth. "
John B. Dirian, Resident Scholar

"This is a great book about evil lawyers corporations trying to rig the jury and everything in their power to win their lawsuit. They try and tamper with the jury. There is one member of the jury who has his own agenda for the corporate litigators."
Allycat, Resident Scholar

"The Biggest trial involving a cigarette company and a grieving widow is about to explode. Fast paced plot and brillant characters. This book is about a man and the fight for justice. The defendant is corrupt and so is the prosecutor but only one side will win and the man who has the power to change it all is not telling who will win until you read the very end of the novel. "
Melanie, Resident Scholar

"The plaintiffs are the underdogs here, with a big multinational tobacco giant defending itself against allegations of knowingly causing death and disease. The industry has an enormous legal team and is not averse to dirty tricks to win. The jury are their target. Surely bribery, corruption and threats will bring in a satisfactory verdict. They have not, however, counted on Nicholas Easter. While the outside world can see that something is amiss with this jury only the reader knows who is influences the events."
Penny , Resident Scholar

"   This is an excellent book for people who love books which include courtroom scenes. In this book the main topic is a tobacco lawsuit. The twelve jurors are people who have been manipulated a lot. The lawyers for both sides will do anything for a verdict in their favor in this book.
"

Vincent, Resident Scholar
