| Plot Summary of Vanish With the Rose |
"Diana took a position as a landscape architect in the hopes of discovering information about her missing brother. The problems: Diana's a lawyer who knows nothing about landscaping, and she feels terribly guilty about lying to the nice people for whom she works. Fortunately, she finds friends who are willing to cover for her as well as help her in her dangerous quest."

"Diana goes to a small town under a fake name in order to find out what happened to her younger brother. Her brother, Brad, had left home in order to escape his father who wanted him to be a lawyer. Brad had faithfully written to Diana twice a month, telling her where he was and how he was doing. All at once his letters stopped coming after a very impersonal post card. Diana went to live with the Nicholsons, pretending to be a landscape expert, who knew quite a bit about roses. She was to help them re-do their backyard into a Victorian era garden setting. Diana began getting flashes into the past, and odd apparitions, as well as the scent of flowers, and the sound of music, began appearing. She finally figured out what happened to her brother, but was shocked to find out that the blame for his disappearance was in the hands of someone she loved greatly."
