| Plot Summary of The Rising |
"Jim Thurmond is hidden away in his house from a plague of walking dead. When a missed call on his cell phone indicates it is from his estranged son who is hundreds of miles away, Jim Thurmond sets off on a journey to find him. Along the way he must fight for his life against these flesh eating monsters. With the aid of an ex-prostitute, a minister and a scientist who just might have the answers to how this all came about, Jim is determined to rescue his son."
