| Plot Summary of Paradise: A Chronicle of a Distant World |
"This book starts with a young man writing a thesis on the colonization of a new primative world called Peponi (Paradise). The man then interviews people and over the years writes a number of books about the evironmental destruction of the planet and what part 'man' had in it. This is not a shoot-em-up space opera, it is a history (or chronicle) that in many ways parallels that of many colonized civilizations."
Shane Tiernan, Resident Scholar

" On the surface, the story deals with the travels of a writer who becomes interested in the romance and mystique of pioneers and hunters who "tamed" the alien world of Peponi. His interviews and publications lead him to undertake an even deeper view of the planet's history, culture, and relationship with humanity. "
Paul Green, Resident Scholar
