Plot Summary of A Family of Her Own
"Two years ago Katie Robinson left her job at Hair and Now, her family, and Dundee to make it in the Big City. Now, she's back, pregnant and no where else to go. The only person she has to turn to is the town's black sheep, Booker T Robinson. The same man that she walked away from and broke his heart 2 years ago.

Despite Katie turning down his marriage offer that long ago summer night, Booker lets Katie come and live with him until she can get back on her feet. The only problem is that once she starts living with Booker, Katie can't remember why she ever left in the first place. This was where she belonged the whole time and this time she's going after what she wants, a family of her own.   "
