| Plot Summary of Jack Pumpkinhead Of Oz |
"A magic pirate's coin transports boy hero Peter back to the Land of Oz just in time to team up with Oz celebrity Jack Pumpkinhead and save the Emerald City from being conquered by the Red Baron of Baffleburg. Unfortunately, getting to the Emerald City proves a lot more difficult than following the Yellow Brick Road. Powerful spells transport Peter and Jack to unknown corners of Oz. The two headed cats of Scare City bar their way. A dangerous chasm separates them from Oz. Still Peter and Jack press on -- and discover new allies in Belfaygor of Bourne, who's beard grows with superhuman speed, and the philosophical Iffin, a griffin who's lost his grrr. Even so, their efforts to warn Oz's rulers are thwarted at every turn.
Then Jack discovers a magic dinner bell that takes him to the Red Jinn of Ev, a powerful magician who could provide Jack with the information he needs to save his friends -- if Jack can reach the Emerald City in time!
