| Plot Summary of The Shivering Sands |

"Caroline Verlaine's famous husband dies suddenly, so she goes to be with her sister. Her sister dies mysteriously at an archaelogical dig. Caroline decides to pose as a piano teacher at the Manor where her sister died so that she can investigate her sister's death. When Napier Stacy comes on to the scene, she gets even more involved in the family. Caroline soon learns all the shocking family secrets, but her most surprising discovery is what happened to her sister."
