"Bree is hit by car, dies, and comes back to life. She is granted three wishes. She falls in love with Tom Gates a famous writer and the man who hit her with his car. He has moved to this small town to recover from extreme selfishness (Didn't go to his mother's funeral). He is alieniated from his family because of the way she has acted. Bree isn't sure about wishes but when she asks for heat, her house burns down. She wants to see her mother who she never knew but that wish doesn't seem to come true. Tom and Bree marry and she wants a child, even though she isn't supposed to have any. "
