| Plot Summary of Miranda and the Warrior |
"Eighteen-year-old Miranda Thurston is the overprotected daughter of a U.S. Cavalry major at a western fort in 1871. She is also willfull and somewhat spoiled, and refuses to believe the very real dangers of Cheyenne war parties, until she sneaks away from the fort and is captured by Shadow Walker, a Cheyenne warrior. Miranda and Shadow Walker despise each other at first - she because he is holding her captive, he beacuse she is one of the hated white people. But when feelings of love begin to grow between the two, will they be able to conquer their differences in order to be together?"
