| Plot Summary of Mistress |
"Iphiginia Bright is determined to find the person who is blackmailing her aunt. Her plan is to pose as the mistress of Marcus Cloud, the Earl of Masters. She believes that in doing so she can find out who the blackmailer is, and since she thinks that Marcus is dead, puts the plan into motion. One night though, into the ballroom walks Marcus, who is very much alive. He wants to figure out just what Iphiginia is up to, and agrees to allow her to keep up the pretense of being his mistress. He too has a friend who is being blackmailed, and together they go on the hunt to find the person who could very well tear apart the lives of the people that mean so much to Iphiginia and Marcus. "
