| Plot Summary of Journey to the Centre of the Earth |
"Axel Lindenbrock's uncle, Professor Otto Lindenbrock, has found a scrap of paper written in old Icelandic. Axel later manages to decipher it, and it leads him and his uncle to Iceland to an extinct volcano called Sneffells. There, they desend into it's crater with the help of a guide named Hans Bjelke, in hopes to reach the centre of the earth! They will face starvation, dehydration, and exhaustion, but eccentric Professor Lindenbrock won't give up until he is at the earth's core...or dead! "
