"This is about starting over and doing the right thing this time. After failing a case with his father's firm, he's banished and forced to start over in a small town. He's looking for redemption in his father's eyes, so what does he do? How does he do this? Then comes a special case, someone who really needs him. Can he do it? He's never tried a criminal case and this is a Death Penalty case. You won't believe he can at first, but he's determined and things start to unravel. The killer isn't a big surprise, but some of the other secrets are surprising."
