| Plot Summary of Lion's Bride |
"Thea, an escaped slave and expert silk embroiderer, is lost in the desert after her caravan train is attacked. Lord Ware, a warrior ex-Knights Templar, finds her and takes her to his castle for protection. The story is set during the time of the Christian Crusades. Lord Ware has left the Knights Templar and they want to kill him because of his knowledge of their secrets. Thea and Ware are drawn together, as she seeks freedom from her slavery and he seeks just to stay alive. An interesting read."
