Thank you for your description of Margaret. It really helped me with my school project. i have read the book and it is one of my favorites. It would also be wonderful if you could tell me a website where they have the book on the internet. Not for sale, I just need too read some lines for my project.

Hi, Bree, thanks for dropping by the message board. For some reason, wasn't notified of your post. Sorry for the delay. Margaret Roberts is a beautiful young woman, blue eyes, golden hair, and a snappy dresser. She seems to be in her late-teens or early 20s, has a gentle sense of humor, certainly a strong sense of right vs. wrong and an adventurous spirit. She had been a shop clerk, whose roommate, another lovely young woman, also a store clerk, had apparently been murdered. Margaret, thinking she knows who the killer is, follows his trail to Boston, finally to Concord. Bree, you really should get the book. It's one of my father's alltime best novels.

Do you know a description of Margaret Roberts from the book A Mystery for Thoreau?

Hi Mark, and thanks for writing in. I'll be passing your note on to the publisher this morning. Perhaps if enough people write in similar notes, the weight of them all will help persuade the publisher to take on this wonderful classic fora new generation. We'll let you know, HERE, if and when that happens.

"Sinbad and Me" was one of my favorite books as a child. Now, I wish I could obtain a copy so my son could enjoy it as I did - and so I could read it again. I hope we'll have good news about bringing the book back. It's a tragedy that it's currently out of print. Keeping my fingers crossed!

So glad to hear that the publisher is taking a 2nd look at printing Sinbad and Me. This is such a great children's book and when printed will attract a new generation of children readers. The storyline is so wonderful that I bet it could be made into a adventure/action children's movie. Please re-print.

Hi Derrick, thanks for your comments. As it happens, Sinbad and Me is again being looked at by a well-known book publisher. This same publisher had passed on the book earlier, but has been moved to take a second look because of the input of fans such as you, who have written in in to share their fond memories of the book. We are hopeful that, this time, we will have a successful outcome.

"Sinbad and Me" - is an old favorite. Please add me to any list for supporting this book being reprinted/republished. This will be a huge hit with a new generation of readers.
