For readers who enjoy books about real people and their often amazing lives,check out my new memoir "Reclamation: Memories from a New Orleans Girlhood." I was motivated to write it after Hurricane Katrina devastated my beloved city. You'll be transported to the urban South of the 1940s and '50s and see what life was like for a girl who never quite fit in.
